With his characteristic blend of playfulness and gravity, the internationally acclaimed Danish artist Tal R (b. 1967) takes over Millesgården with The Elephant in the Room, an exhibition that both unsettles and surprises.

In Carl Milles’s monumental studio, visitors are met by a giant pink elephant standing among Milles’s iconic white plaster casts: an enigmatic and unexpected presence within the historic setting. In the adjoining art hall, the story unfolds through vivid paintings and sculptures exploring the home, its rooms, and the relationships shaped within them.
