For the third year in a row, Gammelgaard can, from Saturday, May 31, welcome CORNER within the art hall’s premises. The artist collective celebrates the practical community of creating an annual exhibition together and, as usual, has again this year invited a number of new guest exhibitors.

CORNER, since their first exhibition in 1932, has stood for an inclusive community with a broad outlook. The members therefore also include artists active in other art forms beyond visual arts, and several have an international background.

As an exhibition, CORNER’s 2025 show expresses the collective’s diversity. It brings together contemporary artists across generations and media. And despite a wide variety of themes, there has historically been a recurring interest among CORNER’s artists in motifs that especially concern the modern existential narrative and the human or figure’s relationship to their surrounding environment or landscape.
